Photo Placement

The placement is depend it align with text, or on top or below of text. Generally if the picture's width less than half of your site width, you may insert it align side-by-side with text. If exceeds half of your site width, usually put on top of text or below. Of course adjust margin or padding to make it nice.

Context Aware

It will be boring if your website just slides same set of photos. Make it context aware, where different set of photos will be loaded depending of current page. Let's say if current page is talking about product, then the slide shows product photos. If current page is company profile, then it might shows company staffs with smile, office and etc.
